Fort Worth / Arlington luxury neighborhoods are concentrated in west and southwest Fort Worth, about seven to eight miles from downtown Fort Worth, and in north Arlington, which is about 18 miles from downtown Fort Worth and 18 miles from downtown Dallas.
Among this area's most prestigious neighborhoods is Westover Hills, where magnificent luxury homes and estate properties can be found literally just down the road from the venerable Shady Oaks Country Club. A few miles to the south, near Benbrook Reservoir, lies Mira Vista, a beautiful golf course community in which luxury homes are still being built. For its part, Arlington offers exclusive neighborhoods like Hampden Woods.
Recently sold pre-owned Fort Worth / Arlington luxury homes costing $500,000 and up have sold for an average $171.70 per square foot and on average were 25.0 years old. Newly constructed luxury homes sold for an average of $176.50 per square foot.
