Four northeast Tarrant County towns, Southlake, Colleyville, Westlake and Keller, are located within this luxury home enclave. The center of this area is approximately 26 miles northwest of downtown Dallas and 22 miles northeast of Fort Worth. It also is about 9 miles from DFW International Airport and 16 miles from the Las Colinas business center.
Newly constructed luxury houses are available in many northeast Tarrant County neighborhoods, including Southlake's Estes Park and Patterson's Pond, Colleyville's Warwick Parc and Whittier Heights, Westlake's super exclusive Vaquero, and Keller's Manors of Waterford and Wildwood neighborhoods. A number of magnificent stand-alone estate properties also are being constructed, mostly in Colleyville. These additions to the area's existing luxury properties base, without doubt, are contributing to northeast Tarrant County being one of the most desirable places to live in the entire DFW metroplex.
A relative newcomer in DFW's luxury home market, the average age of recently sold existing luxury homes costing $500,000 and up is only 10.1 years. On average, these homes were sold for $153.30 per square foot. The average price of newly constructed homes recently sold in this area is $176.10 per square foot.
Note: Not all houses offered for sale are listed on MLS. Sales price and age of homes sold information provided above is for properties listed on the MLS only.
