Public schools attended by most students living in northeast Tarrant County luxury home neighborhoods are among the best schools in the DFW metroplex. As a result, few private schools have chosen to locate in northeast Tarrant County area.

Most Southlake luxury home neighborhoods and Westlake's Glenwyck Farms are served by Carroll ISD, one of the most highly regarded school districts in the metroplex. Students living in most Colleyville luxury home neighborhoods attend Grapevine-Colleyville ISD schools. The performance of these students on the annual Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (TAKS) is significantly higher than state averages, as are the scores of students attending Westlake Academy, a charter school available principally to students living in Westlake.
Students attending the Keller ISD schools that serve most Keller luxury home neighborhoods, some Colleyville luxury home neighborhoods, and Westlake's Vaquero also pass the TAKS test at a significantly higher rate than state averages. Scores of Northwest ISD campuses serving Southlake's Clariden Ranch neighborhood, for the most part, also are significantly above state averages.
