One of things that is unique about the Park Cities area, as compared to other DFW luxury home enclaves, are its schools. Most students living here have the opportunity to attend public schools that are considered to be among the best in Texas, and for that matter, in the entire United States. It additionally is a relatively short drive from anywhere in the Park Cities to many of the metroplex's most highly regarded private schools.
Park Cities public schools
Most Highland Park and University Park neighborhoods lie within Highland Park ISD attendance zones. Some homes in several Park Cities neighborhoods, including Highland Park and Highland Park West, are located in Dallas ISD attendance zones.
All of the private schools listed below are within about four miles of the Park Cities area. A number of additional privates schools, many of which are listed on the North Dallas schools page (link at bottom of page), are located a bit further north.
