 The Argyle Independent School District currently operates one elementary school, one middle school, and one high school. These schools are attended by approximately 1,500 students who live in Argyle, Bartonville, Denton and Flower Mound.
For the 2006-2007 school year, Argyle ISD was rated as academically acceptable by the Texas Education Agency (TEA). Two of its three campuses received exemplary ratings and one received a recognized rating. The percentage of Argyle ISD students passing the 2006-2007 Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (TAKS) was significantly higher than for all Texas schools.
