The Crowley Independent School District currently operates ten elementary schools, one intermediate school, two middle schools, two ninth grade campuses, two high schools, and a special programs center. These seventeen schools are attended by approximately 15,100 students who live in Crowley, Fort Worth, Edgecliff, and unincorporated Johnson County.
For the 2006-2007 school year, Crowley ISD was rated as academically acceptable by the Texas Education Agency (TEA). Four of its campuses received recognized ratings and thirteen received academically acceptable ratings. The percentage of Crowley ISD students passing the 2006-2007 Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (TAKS) was near the average of all Texas schools.
