The Frisco Independent School District currently operates thirty elementary schools, twelve middle schools, six high schools and one special programs center. These forty-nine schools are attended by more than 24,000 students who live in Frisco, Little Elm, McKinney and Plano.
For the 2010-2011 school year, Frisco ISD was rated exemplary by the Texas Education Agency (TEA). Thirty-four of its campuses received exemplary ratings, fourteen received recognized ratings, and one was not rated. The percentage of Frisco ISD students passing the 2009-2010 Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (TAKS) was significantly higher than for all Texas schools.
Four Frisco ISD schools are attended by students living in the luxury home neighborhoods profiled on this web site. As shown below, two of these campuses were rated exemplary by the TEA based on their 2010-2011 school year performances, and two were rated recognized.
