The Grapevine-Colleyville Independent School District currently operates eleven elementary schools, four middle schools, two high schools, and two alternative schools. These nineteen schools are attended by approximately 13,800 students who live in Colleyville, Grapevine, Euless, and Hurst. For the 2006-2007 school year, Grapevine-Colleyville ISD was rated academically acceptable by the Texas Education Agency (TEA). Eight of its campuses received exemplary ratings, four received recognized ratings, six received academically acceptable ratings, and one was not rated. The percentage of Grapevine-Colleyville ISD students passing the 2006-2007 Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (TAKS) was significantly higher than for all Texas schools.
