The Keller Independent School District currently operates twenty-one elementary schools, five intermediate schools, five middle schools, three high schools and one special programs center. These thirty-five schools are attended by more than 28,000 students who live in Keller, Colleyville, Fort Worth, Haltom City, Hurst, North Richland Hills, Southlake, Watauga, and Westlake.
For the 2009-2010 school year, Keller ISD was rated recognized by the Texas Education Agency (TEA). Twenty-four of its campuses received exemplary ratings, eight received recognized ratings and two received academically acceptable ratings. The percentage of Keller ISD students passing the 2009-2010 Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (TAKS) was significantly higher than for all Texas schools.
Seven Keller ISD schools are attended by students living in the luxury home neighborhoods profiled on this web site. As shown below, six of these campuses were rated exemplary by the TEA based on their 2009-2010 school year performances and one received a recognized rating.
