A large majority of the public schools attended by students living in south Denton County luxury home neighborhoods are among the best schools in the DFW metroplex. This likely is a major reason that very few private schools have chosen to locate in south Denton County.
Public schools
Students living in Flower Mound luxury home neighborhoods attend Lewisville ISD schools, with one exception. Students living in The Estates at Tour 18 attend Argyle ISD schools. These are two of the most highly regarded school districts in the metroplex. The passing rate of the students attending these schools on the annual Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (TAKS) is significantly higher than state averages. The TAKS passing rates of students attending Northwest ISD campuses that serve Trophy Club luxury home neighborhoods also are generally significantly above state averages.
